Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry of Mt. Vernon seeks to meet and fellowship to help uplift, inspire, love and motivate one another. This fellowship is comprised of women of all ages. We strive to provide events that will help strengthen our knowledge, physical well being and spiritual growth. Sharing ideas, working on committees and co-sponsoring events with other ministries provides the vehicle needed to expand relationships within our Christian community.

We would like to invite you to become a part of the Women's Ministry at Mt. Vernon as we fellowship and serve together in faith, love and unity. Our mission is to be women who are committed to a deepening relationship with Christ through diligent prayer and the study of the Scriptures. As a result, we pray to be spiritually mature women, confident in our gifts and courageous in our words, so we can reach out in love to impact our church and community for Christ.

There are numerous opportunities available to get involved. Through in-depth Bible studies, heartwarming fellowships and special events offered throughout the year, you will have meaningful and fulfilling opportunities to enrich your heart, encourage your spirit and expand your ministry.

Men's Fellowship

It's not easy being a man in a culture that isn't sure what manliness is. Have you ever considered how it got so crazy? Maybe we've been trying to live life on the wrong terms.

Maybe it's time to do it on His terms.

That's why the Mt. Vernon Men's Ministry exists. We work to equip men with the tools they need to find peace and purpose in their roles as leaders, husbands, fathers and friends. We want to help men learn how to balance work and family life, build stronger marriages, become better fathers, grow spiritually and enjoy Christian fellowship.

The focus of our men's fellowship is simple: we seek to inspire men to be real men as they follow the model of the greatest man ever born, Jesus Christ. Christian men today carry more responsibilities than ever before. For many, managing the demands of marriage, family, career, and church responsibilities can be a daily challenge. It is so easy to get caught up in a hectic schedule and a daily routine that you forget what is really important: your personal relationship with Jesus and with the people He has placed in your life.

It is possible to live a balanced, satisfied Spirit filled life in today's fast paced world. The key lies in proper priorities and making a commitment to do the things our Lord would have us to do.
